Child Custody
If in a divorce if one parent gets full custody of a child does that parent have to petition the court to move out of the state. This parent also has 2 pending court cases. One is an adoption case per said child. And the other is for child support for the said child. What happens if the parent just up and leaves the state with no warning to the courts or to the other parent?

Re: Child Custody
Custodial parent by law must notify the Court when he or she plans to move out of state, not merely notify the Court after leaving. If the custodian leaves with the child for an out of state residence, the noncustodial parent's remedy is to file for a modification of custody and a contempt against the custodial parent for denying visitation or parenting time.
