I was recently sued in court for custody of my children and was not given a chance to be represented by an attorney my ex husband claimed many alegations against me and I requested a continuanceso that i could get a attorney I was denied my request Is thre anything I can do?

Dear Madam or Sir,
If the judgment was less than 30 days ago you may do a motion for reconsideration. However, if you had been given plenty of time to obtain an attorney prior to hearing, this may be denied.
