Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Child Emancipation

I am 17 years old, still in school and I will be until I'm done with college. The question I have is, can I get legally emancipated in Indiana without my parents consent? I have a job and living with a friend I can support myself, but when and if i can, how would I go about doing that?

Re: Child Emancipation

By the time that you file in court and gt a final hearing, you will probably be 18, so it probably is not worth pursuing. However, if you look at my prior answers, you will find one that answers your question.

Good luck
