My questions is there is a open adoption case in Tennessee. I am trying to get custody of my child back in Indiana. If I open a custody case in Indiana, odes this case put a hault to the adoption case in Tennessee or does it continue on even if I open a custody case in Indiana?

If the kid is in Tennessee, you're going to have to start the case in Tennessee. Also, you should probably be contesting the adoption proceeding to begin with. You should consult with a Tennessee attorney asap.
