Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Child Modification Court Appearance

Hello, I was too late in obtaining an attorney and also to file a motion for continuance, so I have to represent myself in court tomorrow for the child modification my ex-wife filed to gain custody of our two children. How do I go about the process of representing myself and what steps should I take while in court. I can prove that my children are doing well in school and in my care, but is that enough? Thank you for any advice you can give...

Re: Child Modification Court Appearance

This request is a bit beyond what this forum is for.

Nevertheless, I suggest that if you are proceeding ahead tomorrow that you obtain CERTIFIED COPIES

of the medical records and school records. Otherwise, you may have difficulty presetning evidence to the court. Good luck.
