How can you get Child Protective Services to help?????A 5 year old is with a mother that does drugs,was arrested just lately and was suppose to get 1 yr,got out in couple of weeks..Now said mother is dating convicted child molester...Person was told (CPS) would look into it and get back with them in a couple of days...Isn't this how small children get molested and fall thru the cracks...What happens in that few days and something happens,a few days won't save that child....What can be done before it is too late????

How are you involved? That will affect the advice that you should get. As to our overworked child protective services department, the best thing you can do in general is to vote for legislators who will raise the money to pay for decent government services, and vote against the folks who promise you continuous tax cuts without identifying the costs involved in reduced services and increased negative impact on children.
