child support and DNA

my husband has been paying child support through the courts in VA to a woman who had a child while he was dating her about 12 yrs ago....he is not sure the child is actually his....how does he go about getting a DNA test on the child when the mother and child live in Indiana.

He should file a Petition in your local Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court for a Paternity Test.

This question can not be answered as presented. Was there a legal determination that he is the father? If so, did he waive his right to have a paternity test at that time?
