Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
In my child support order my daughter's father is suppose to pay for half of her private schooling on top of weekly child support. He paid all last year and then started to this year until July when he informed me he would no longer pay. He does have a full time job and has recently changed companies because the pay was better. I ask him every month if he is going to pay and he says no. Is it worth taking him to court for contempt or will I just be wasting my money? If I do take him to court will I see any of that money?

The order is the order-he failed to modify the order and failed to follow the order-sounds like viable contempt case to me. You are the judge of whether the amount at issue makes it worth your while to pursue. No one can tell you whether you will actually see any money. Good luck.
