Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Child Support is outrageous and I can't talk to my Kids

I have 4 Girls, of which I am only sure that one is mine, I requested Paternity tests, my ex refuses to give me paternity tests eventhough it was ordered by the court. She won't let me speak to my children, because she say i do not take care of them since i am not living in the same house as them. I Divorced her not my children, i keep telling her that i do not want to speak to her, i want to speak to my children, she still refuses because SHE doesn't want to talk to me. I have lived in Virginia for a year now and I am wondering if I am able to file for the paternity tests to be taken here in VA so that she can stop telling me that i cannot speak to my children? I need to know how i can file in VA for custody eventhough we agreed on joined custody in Indiana? Does Indiana have jurisdiction over everything that has to do with our case? and if so how can i get it switched to VA?

You cannot transfer the case to Virginia unless the children have lived here for six months. Any action you would want to take to take her to task for refusing the court order requiring paternity tests, her refusal to allow contact or any other issue must take place in Indiana.

Sorry

Good luck
