Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

When does child support stop

My youngest child will be 21 in 10/09. Do I just stop making child support payments or do I need to file something with the courts? We never used the agency for payments, I just paid directly to my ex. I have records of all my payments.

Re: When does child support stop

If the court order required payment to the agency, you have made this more complicated than it needed to be. Regardless, you will need to file for emancipation, it is not automatically changed. Feel free to contact me for more details.
