Child support and educational benefits are actually two separate things even though they are generally lumped together.

A parent's child support obligation generally stops when the child reaches 21 years of age or is emancipated.

College educational benefits end when the child graduates college.

Generally, Mr. Hassler has provided you with a concise answer. However, college expenses are only required if court ordered and the Petition for College Expenses must have been filed before the child is 21.
