Is there a time restraint (set amount of time) as to how long after mediation some one has to file for a hearing?

Yes, no, maybe. If there is a case management order or a local rule requiring it, or the general rule of dismissal for not prosecuting your case in Trial Rule 40 D. There is no statewide statute that directly applies to your question.
