Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
child visitation
my son's father is taking me to court to push for visitations but he's a convicted drug dealer, he has threatened to kill me in front of my son, my son has a brittle bone disease and i fear for his safety over there he hasn't been involved in his life at all really. i didn't deny him visitations i suggested that he'd go to his mother's house because my son goes there often but he refused, if he cant come to his house then he dont want to see him. if i get a lawyer can i get supervised only meaning that he had a designated place like a relatives house? his girlfriend interrogates my son when he's there and his father and her argue all the timecursing and the threats has caused my son to cry and ask questions about him killing me...what can be done about the visistation issue?

Re: child visitation
Yes, you should get an attorney to represent you. You might also consider talking to a counselor to make sure that what your son has been hearing has not caused him emotinal damage. If it has, further unsupervised parenting time with the father might cause further emotional harm. Also, if he is threatening you, you should get a protective order. They are free.
