Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Child visitation

Today i went to see my children, during my visitation my daughter who is 9 and my son who is 6 told me they never wanted to see me again. No indication of this has ever came up before during visitation. The whole time whilemy children were telling me this they kept looking at their mother for what appeared to be not support in what they were saying but for their mothers approval. How do I get my children back into my life, I don't believe it was them telling me how they feeled but them telling me what their mother wanted. Please help.

Re: Child visitation

Continue with the visitation. If mother interferes with visitation, you need to get an attorney and get this matter in front of a judge.

Re: Child visitation

Kids dont get to determine parenting time, take your parenting time as scheduled. Whether the mother is putting them up to it or they actually have these feelings, there is soemthing wrong and counseling is needed. Ask the mother to get them counseling, if she wont, you should petition the court. If a counselor determines that the mother is putting them up to it, you may actually be able to obtain custody.

Good luck, this is a bad situation for the kids, no matter what.
