Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
seeing children
My ex husband will not let my children, ages 15 and 19 come and visit me. My 15 year old says she had a random drug screening at school and she told them she was not clean, that she had smoked marijuana with my current husband. He has not mentioned it to me. He told her to say she was having friends over this weekend. Can he not let me see them?

Re: seeing children
He can so long as you do not file a contempt citation against him. You need to get an attorney.

You can file a contempt citation against him for denying you and your child parenting time together as well as not keeping you aware of significant developments in you your child's life. Also, if she is having a driug problem, you may want to file for a modification of custody. A drug problem is sime indication that your daughter's best interest may not be to be living with her father.
You should see an attorney. ood luck.
