Common Law Marriage

If I possess a certificate of common law marriage through the state of Texas, will the state of Indiana recognize the said certificate as legal and binding?

Probably. Call the Indiana Secretary of State office and ask.

My gut reaction would be to say yes because of the Full Faith and Credit Act which requires one state to give power to the decisions and judgments made by other states.

But no one has ever asked me that, so I cannot be certain without further checking.
