Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I have a court date in Indiana later this month, I called them to see about doing an appearance over the phone, I had to fax them a letter explaining why, once I did all of that I got a letter from them saying that it was approved. Now today I get a letter saying that the father objects to my request and that I must appear in person or "comply with the procedure required for a telephonic appearance under Indiana Administrative Rule 14(b)", I looked up that rule and still don't understand what I should do, because I live states away and cannot afford to be at court in person. Can you please explain this to me in more understandable terms?

You need to file a motion that sets forth good cause for your not being there. Without knowing what the court date is for, I cannot be of any other assistance.
