Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I am the custodial parent of a 15 year old pregnant daughter she currently has her fathers last name but wanted it changed when she turned 18. Since she is having a boy she wants her child to carry my last name. Is that possible?

2. As the mother, until a court determines a different name, she can name her child anything she wants.
