Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
Custody for my husband's son
If everyone involved in a custody case is in agreeance, would we need a lawyer to represent us or could we go to court without one? My husband is leaving for his training soon and will be gone several months. Am I allowed to represent him in court during the time he is not here if I am provided power of atterney?
Also, where can I find a detailed step by step instructions to filing for custody in the state of Indiana, from which forms to fill iin to where to hand them in?

Re: Custody for my husband's son
No, if you can learn all the rules and procedures for filing the proper papers with all required content.
You can not represent your husband.
There is no such site that I am aware of that provides the detailed information that you are asking for. However, you can check the Indiana Judiciary site for forms and rules.
