Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

There is no custody order in place and the situation is tricky to say in the least. My daughters father pretty much out of the blue asked for her for two weeks which isn't a normal thing for him. I recently brought my daughter back into my home after the verbal agreement that his mother and i had in place fell through. She is better off with me and though only five repeatedly says she wants to be with me for a time she was better with her grandmother but i have gotten my life straightend out and was ready to have her with me anyways. Could he keep her and leave me high and dry freaking out I am very nervous about the whole situation and don't know what to do i try to avoid any conflict as she has had enough of that but i wonder if i am doing the wrong thing by letting her go

Although there is no custody order, I suggest that you look at the Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines for guidance (www.in.gov/judiciary) If you went to court, most of the time the court's order follows the guidelines.
