Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have custody of my son, ordered out of another state. How do I get the jurisdiction moved to the state I live in.

If the other parent still lives in the other state, you can't. If not, there are ways to domesticate the judgment, and to have Indiana assume jurisdiction the next time action needs to be taken (support collection, etc.). An attorney in your community will be able to help you depending on what you need and when you need it.

Good luck.
