Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have custody of my 17 year old daughter. She is wanting to live with her father. We go to court June 25th. I have not been able to get councel yet. I talked to legal aid yesterday, they told me that I could go to court without councel and ask for a DRCB and a contenuance. Is there anyway I could get stung doing this. I want to put court off for awhile hoping that she will change her mind and we can get through to her. Her college is in jepardy if this move happens.

What is a DCRB? Why is college in jeopardy if she lives with Father? Why is her father dangerous to live with? Please repost with this information.
