Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

I have custody of my 11 year old son.. his mother lives in another county about 1 hour away... she is supposed to get him every other weekend and per the court papers.. she is supposed to get him on Thursdays.. but due to the distance we have not let her.. now she is mad and is saying it says she is supposed to get him and so she is... can I stop her? do i have to let him go?

You have to follow the court's orders. If you don't like them due to the distance, you can ask they be changed, but until then, yes you have to comply.

The order is the order and you need to comply or face a contempt proceeding. If school is the issue, perhaps a compriomise can be reached with her having him every Friday. Good luck.
