Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

If I am dating a lady that has children and she was never married to her old boyfriend finding out that he takes the children with out asking her. I am looking at marrying her and wanted to know what I can do for he is starting to threaten me and we wanted to find out if there is any way to get some kind of restriction.

The catch is that he lives 3 or 4 houses down from him.

I am trying to lookout for my safety, hers and the children.

I would appreciate some inquire into what can be done.

If he is threatening you, obtain a protective order. Without knowing more about any court ordered parenting time, etc. I cannot answer the rest of your inquiry.
