Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My daughter is with my dad

She's in Texas with my dad. I'm in Indiana. Her father and I signed and notarized a paper giving my dad temporary guardianship because I was having some trouble. Her father and I have been divorced since 01. I have full custody of her. Can I just go get her? The police dept. in the town where he lives says she's my daughter and I can get her anytime I want because I am her mother and I have the divorce decree and custody papers. There were no courts or lawyers involved.

If no court order, your father has no rights. However, you might wish to send him a letter revoking any consents to guardianship previoulsy provided.
