Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My daughter's biological father's name wasn't on the birth certificate until she was one and he hasn't maintained a steady relationship with her her whole life. She is nearing two years old and he is also up to date on child support, but he will go a month or a month and a half without seeing her. Will he still be able to get overnight visitation when she is two years old? Or what age will he be granted that right? And what guidelines does he have to meet?
