Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

i let my daughters father keep her over night. now he wont give her back. there is no custody established through the courts. the officers in my town said they cant do nething about it..how do i get her back????????????

if you cannot reason with him then you need to get a reputable domestic relations lawyer in the county where you live. the best source is word of mouth or the local county bar association. the court will need to establish paternity, and make orders re custody, visitation and support. good luck.
