Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

deceased mother with living father

my girlfriend was in florida with me visiting family and she had left mad and came back messed up on somthing. The next morning I woke up to go to work and I could not wake her she had overdosed on pills. She did not make it and we have a son togeather. They would not give me my son because he was in the house when it happend they gave my son to my girlfriends mother. The judge in Florida granted temporary 30 day custody to her. We are all residents of Indiana. My girlfriends mother is flying back here tomorrow with my son and my girlfriend for the funural. What are my rights to get my son back sense the judge told me that the 30 day temporary custody does not hold in the state of indiana? Can I go pick him up tomorrow with a sherriff
