Divorce of a criminal

Can you get divorced if you are in state prison or can you

divorce your spouse if they are in state prison?

There is no legal restriction to prevent a prisoner from seeking a dissolution or from the spouse doing so. It becomes more difficult, because of the transportation problem, but there is nothing in the statute that prevents a dissolution under those circumstances.
