Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

If you're going through a divorce and you are dissatisfied with your attorney; can you address your concerns directly to the judge via a letter or in person?

If the judge ordered that a vehicle is returned to me and I later total it in an accident, can my soon-to-be ex-wife keep the settlement proceeds since the car was in her name?

No, the judge doesn't care who you hire. Fire your attorney and find a new one if you are unhappy. You may report any illegal or unethical behavior to the State Disciplinary Commission.

I would believe that any judge would order the money to go to you under these facts.
