Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I am currently going through a divorce and my soon to be ex-wife and I share 50/50 custody of our two children. She is threatening to file a protective order, for the children, against a woman that I am seeing due to her personal feelings toward this woman. The woman I am seeing is a long time friend, been around my kids for years and my kids are familiar and adore her. We also are selling our house and during the interim, my wife and I rotate in and out of the home while the children live there full time. My wife is also threatening to get a no trespassing order against this woman as well so she cannot come to the house even though she is invited by me during my time in the home. Does she have grounds and the ability to do this?
