divorce and no income

i have been married for 15 yrs and worked all the marriage except for the last 1 and half because of many health issues i am trying to get disability but as anyone knows its not easy or fast. we had to move states when i lost my job so husband could make more income or so he thought he opened his own business which took away the health insurance we had cobra but no longer have that so now after a yr of fighting and being away from my support and family he has decided we cant get along but truth is i am to expensive i will agree with divorce because i know i am a burden but i will moving states away back to where we are from and our two kids are with me he says he will take on all debt we have together we have no assests but it will leave me with no insurance my question is while i am waiting for this to be final can i get medicaid or will this imcome he makes still be considerd mine also even is he is not paying anything for me? I just dont know what to do my medical costs and medcine are so expensive and i have already been going without please i need advice thanks

Your husband is fortunate as you certainly could seek maintenance from him as well as child support.

I can not answer your question as this is more of an elder law issue. However I would suggest that you contact medicaid and ask them. The caseworkers are usually pretty helpful.
