How do I ensure that my husband cannot just take our son and leave or pick him up from school or daycare without permission.. He wants me to sign over all rights of my son to him. I do not want this nor do I feel it is the right thing to do for the child. Husband is in Jail awaiting transfer to prison his release date is March 30, 2007 and I would like to take care of this matter before this time.

You need to provide a lot more detail. What is he in jail for? Is he a threat to your child? Are there any legal proceedings between your husband and you, presently?
