Hi,

My wife and I are contemplating divorce.She is pregnant with my child and says that when it's born she won't let me see it.What are my rights?We have no premarrital agreement or anything like that.

Once you or one of you files for dissolution of your marriage and requests a preliminary hearing, the Court will make the determination of what visitation or parenting time rights you have. At that point it becomes a determination made by the court not the mother. Either one of you has the right to contest the paternity of the child either before or after the dissolution is filed. The state provides a guideline for parenting time and specifically determine what is reasonable when there is an infant involved.
