Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I had gotten divorced back in 2007 and in the papers it says that visitation should be through agreement or the parenting time guidelines. We agreed that he would come out here every other weekend to see our son because "he didn't have time for him at the moment". Well he never came after the divorce was final and it's been 3 years since our 4 year old has seen him. He does pay support and now he is wanting to come into his life but I told him he would have to come here until our son is comfortable leaving with him and then he could take him home. I am refusing to meet halfway because he lives about 50 minutes away from me and now he wants to take me to court because I am refusing. He claims that I said that he couldn't ever see him, but that is not the case and I have documentation proving that I have tried to get him to come see him. I am needing to know what to do and what will happen if he does take me to court?? Need to find a lawyer soon so that we are prepared for when he gets his.

Too broad a question to answer in this forum, but you do need to see an attorney right away to defend yourself.
