Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I divorced my husband a couple years ago (actually, he wanted the divorce and asked me to initiate the action). In the same time period, I suffered a stroke. I look back and I feel that he took advantage of my illness by "suggesting" how we should split things up. Because my mental state was weak and unstable, I went by the majority of his "suggestions". Now, after 2 years, I'm finally getting my life back and have come to realize that he was not looking out for "our" best interest, but rather "his" best interest. We had been married 33 years. I was forced to retire due to my stroke, while he is still employed. I am living on social security and barely making it financially. My question ... Can I go back to court and request part of his pension?
