Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Where do I go for DNA test if father is deceased?

My 10 year old son's father passed away in a swimming pool accident last year. We never did a paternity test and he never signed an affidavit at birth, while he was living. The Father sent gifts and money a few times a year and was only 34 years old so I thought we had plenty of time to sort through this legal paperwork of getting his name on my son's birth certificate.

From what I've discovered, the County Child Support Office won't do anything because they have to establish paternity within 5 months of the father's death (They tell me this after a year and a half of excuses and stalling). Anyway, from my understanding I need to get a DNA test done using deceased father's relatives then contact my St. Joseph County administrators office to ask for a ''Court Ordered Paternity Adjudication''? Also how do I know which DNA testing companies will be reputable with the court system?

P.S. My son was born in MN, we live in IN, father lived in AZ when he died
