I would like to be emancipated, and my mother is incarcerated, can she still sign papers since she is technically still my legal guardian?

She can consent, but that doesn't mean the court will allow it to happen. You need to consult with an attorney about this because it is pretty rarely done in Indiana by a child seeking emancipation before turning 18. Just because you want it done doesn't mean it will be done.
