When a 17 year old girl doesn't want to obey her parents and wants out of the house, is emancipation a viable option? How does it work?

Re: Emancipating a rebellious child

There is no provision to emancipate a child under 18 unless he or she is in the juvenile system as a runaway or otherwise delinquent child. There must be a plan of emancipation set up. When there is no proceeding in juvenile court, such emancipation is out of the question.
