I need to know about Emancipation!

I'm 16 1/2 years old. My boyfriend and I want to get married. My parents won't sign me off to him. Is there anyway I can get emancipated from them on my own? What is all the legal information on this? THANKS!

Under Indiana law a person under 18 cannot marry except by parental consent. There is no procedure to become emancipated to avoid the necessity of parental consent to marriage.
