Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Self employed

My husbands child support is set to be modified. He is currently self-employed. When they come up with weekly gross income, is he allowed to deduct 7.65% of his social security tax off his income? He pays double what a normal person would. The prosecutor is saying he can't. I have read the IN Child support guidelines. They say he can.

Re: Self employed

He is entitled to calculate his income in the manner the guidelines specify, even though the county prosecutor does not like that.
