Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

Engaged couple bought house together, broke up and sold the house.

Both names on the mortgage. Two years latter one person wants the other to

Pay half the mortgage payment during the time they owned the house.

Would this be passed the statue of limitation?

it depends. if the claim is only for unjust enrichment then the 2 year limitation might apply. if it is for some sort of breach of agreement then it is probably a 6 year limitation. sounds like one of the couple has some serious separation issues and needs to move on - especially after 2 years. good luck.
