Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

yes hello , i was engaged to my fiance for a year and half, he co signed for my car a yr ago its a camero 2005 , i have always paid for my car payments , we have now spilt up because he became abusive , we were both in air force reserves, he will not take his name off the car or sign off of it , i am afraid he will try to pick my car up , since they made me put his name on the register

can he pick up the car anytime he wants if i am paying on it, he moved back with his parents to south carolina i live in indiana , what can i do to insure he will not pick up my car car max is my laon co they will not take his name off the loan as co owner please advice me as what i can do

ps i am 23 yrs old

Yes, as it stands right now , he is an owner. Your best bet is to talk with him once things settle down. If that does not work, at least on a temproary basis, you could have the locks changed. You could also hire counsel to write a letter and to possibly file a suit.
