Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex-husband filed a child support modification, our court date was Oct. 2 but misread the papers and thought it was Oct. 9th. I even spoke with my ex several times and he never corrected me on the date, not that it is his responsibility, however what are my options now?
