Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My ex-husband, who has every other weekend custody, recently bought my 16 year old daughter a vehicle. She just turned 16 and got her license and has very little driving experience. My ex-husband says now that he has bought her a vehicle it is her responsibility to drive herself to him on his weekends. He lives way out in the country over an hours drive away and I don't want my child driving in the winter weather on back roads that far, isn't it still his responsibility to pick her up on his weekends? Can I legally not allow her to drive that far at her age and with her driving experience? He also stated that if I don't want her driving there, then it is my responsibility to take her to him.

I cannot answer your question as posted. You used the term "weekend custody" Custody is a legal term with a specific definition and I am not sure that you really mean custody, or whether you mean parenting time/visitation. Please repost.
