Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana

My ex-wife was awarded ownership of our mini-van, responsible for insurance, maintenance, tags, etc. while I am responsible for the loan remaining on it and should hold her harmless from it. Decree states I should payoff in reasonable time. Does this mean I have to refinance to an unsecured loan, or that I just have to make timely payments for the remainder of loan?

Your attorney in the divorce can answer this question. If you handled it pro se, than this is an example (unfortunately for you) of the dangers of assuming that a judge will handle these without input from trained lawyers. In that case, you have to ask the judge.
