Stopping child support payment is NOT the solution. You will still owe it one way or the other. You should talk to an attorney immediately about how to solve the problem of contact with your children. Delaying will only cost you more money and make her harder to find.

Feel free to call for an appointment if you would like to discuss this with me.

Re: Exwife And Child visitation issues

I appreciate your frustration, but the worst thing that you could do is stop paying child support! You need to start making up for the missed payments asap and start making regular payments again. At somepoint you will be in front of a judge and you do not want to deal with non-support. Case law is quite clear that there is no relationship between child support and visitation and you will be held in contempt.

That beindg said, she is also in contempt of court and you will be able to get a hearing in the Indiana court that conducted the divorce. There are ways of tracking her down and to enforce your rights of visitation. You need to contact an attorney to assist you.
