Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
My fianc and I recently ended our relationship amicably. We have a son together that soon will be three. I am on the BC as our sons father. We are in agreement with joint custody and have a visitation and parenting plan drawn up that we also agree on. Like I said, this is a very amicable situation. What do we need to do to make the custody agreement and parenting plan we have drawn up binding. My ex fianc is currently living in Indiana and has for the past 2 years with her family; she will continue to do so. I have always maintained my residency in Delaware and will also continue to do so. Indiana will retain jurisdiction over this matter. We would prefer to involve the courts and the legal system as little as possible, while still making our agreement legal. Thanks in advance.

this is simple. file a paternity action. Submit the agreed order stating you are the biological father, stating child support and the custody agreement. If no one objects, the court will enter it, wit hthe possible exception of not approving support if it is out of alignment with the guidelines
