Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
I am finacally low income on unemployment. I would like to know how to get custody of my granddaughter. My daughter has lived with me since getting pregnant due to pregnancy complications and since the baby was born. I know she loves her daughter she doesn't spend time with her. She works nites comes home around 4 am goes to bed, when the baby wakes up brings her to me. I take care of her. Her mom gets up then spends 20 minutes with her and starts getting ready for work and leaves. She takes her to her doctor appointments says I can't. I buy her food most of her clothing and whatever she needs. My daughter comes before the baby and her boyfriend before that. I didn't teach her this. My children always came first. Could I get custody?
