Legal Question in Family Law in Indiana
my friend left a mentally emotionally verbally abusive husband. to make a very long story short.....he has previous stalking charges...has repeatedly threatened and harassed her. He called dcs and had the baby taken away. She is a good mom and doesnt deserve to have her child taken away. The baby who is 4 months old has a medical condition that requires a feeding tube at this time. I have been taking care of it and changing it out each week. ( i work nicu in a hospital) Well dcs took baby to have him checked out at hospital. The caseworker asked the mother if she would stay and do training to care for the feeding tube. she said yes. So i left. About an hour later she called me hysterical , they took the baby from her for noooo reason. ( apparently said his feeding tube looked like it hadnt been changed. I changed it 2 days ago. They said they would bein contact in about a week. PLease help us. They have no grounds for taking this child form his mother.

Your friend needs to talk to an attorney. There is no way that advice to HER friend on a computer website will be sufficent to help her in this situation. Find a lawyer for her in your community.
